Mark Priest was a performance actor who worked at Walt Disney World in Florida. In August 2009, Priest fell and hit his head on a wall during a mock sword-fight in "Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial", a show at the Magic Kingdom. The 47-year-old performer cut his scalp and broke vertebra in his neck. Priest was hospitalized and moved out of the intensive care unit on Monday, August 10, 2009. Shortly after his condition appeared to stabilize, Priest died. His exact cause of death is being investigated.

Priest was said to have slipped on water then fell and cracked his head into a wall. He had over 50 stitches and broke his neck. He was in ICU until Monday but just after his condition stabilized, he died! Some of his friends / colleagues speculated that he may have suffered a heart attack but the investigation is ongoing.
