Mad Magazine illustrator Tom Richmond created 'bobble head' caricatures of all the Senators and Representatives in the 111th Congress for a "Bobble Rep" iPhone app. The informational-database app was designed by movie director Ray Griggs and programmed by Stevo Brock. On November 8, 2009, Richmond's "Bobble Rep" iPhone app was rejected by Apple because it "ridicules public figures." Best Buy's Black Friday VIP contest begins on November 2, 2009 and ends on November 20, 2009. Contestants must submit a 250 word essay on why they are excited about Black Friday. One person will be chosen from each of the 25 cities participating in the contest. The winners will get a $1,000 Best Buy Gift Card, will be driven to their local Best Buy in limousine and will be given access to the store at 4:30 a.m. on Black Friday. In addition, winners will get a free Insignia Digital Camcorder so that they can record the event.
