Woman falls, damages rare Picasso

105 years is a pretty good run for a painting right? After being on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC since the 1950s, Picass's "The Actor" was damaged when a woman lost her balance and fell into the painting. The UK's "Daily Mail" estimates its value at $80 million. Why isn't something like this...protected? For example, although it's priceless, The Mona Lisa is well out of reach and behind glass while on display at the Louvre. Just a thought.
