The Ford Transit Connect was named the North American Truck of the Year at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The Ford Transit Connect is a commercial cargo van that claims to offer twice as much fuel economy as standard vans. It gets 22 miles-per-gallon in the city and 25 miles-per-gallon on highways. Its fuel efficiency is equivalent to that of a large car. Although the bare bones version looks like a paddy-wagon, the Ford website has some pretty cute ideas for customizing the Ford Transit Connect. The cargo area can also be customized with shelves, drawers, wire screens, etc.
