Filippa Hamilton is a fashion model whose thin figure sparked controversy after she appeared in a Ralph Lauren advertisement in the fall of 2009. Hamilton appeared so thin that the blog Photoshop Disasters featured the image and assuming that it was retouched, commented that "her head's bigger than her pelvis." Boing Boing also featured the image on their blog. In response, Ralph Lauren filed a DCMA copyright complaint. Boing Boing then posted a message on their website saying that threats wouldn't stop them from posting such images and in the future they might also "offer nourishing soup and sandwiches to your models."
