Police in Nashville released the final text messages between Steve McNair and girlfriend Sahel Kazemi in October 2009. McNair and Kazemi sent text messages back and forth in the days leading up to the July 2009 murder-suicide. The day before their bodies were found, Kazemi complained about being stressed and in need of money. The final messages consisted of McNair asking Kazemi to leave the condo door open for him to which she replied "its open."
