Mayor Donald Walker, of Warner Robins, Georgia, died on Monday, September 28, 2009. The police chief told the Macon Telegraph that Mayor Walker died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Mayor Walker was 60 years old. His wife Patricia Walker was home at the time of the shooting.
