During the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, rapper Kanye West stormed on stage after Taylor Swift received the Best Female Video award. West remarked that Beyonce should have won as she had one of the best videos of all time. The outburst was presumably unplanned and the show quickly cut away from the stage.
