Richard Irby is known as the "Speedo Man" in his town of Tallahassee, Florida, because he rides his bike wearing a thong or bikini bottom, socks and a headband. Irby, age 55, is 6'3" and 220lbs. Fans of Irby set up a fan club on Facebook, called "The Classy Tallahassee Bikini Bicyclist Fan Club." Irby suffered a brain injury as a teenager that left him with slurred speech. The bikini-bottomed cyclist was arrested for disorderly conduct on Thursday, August 27, 2009. Irby allegedly exposed himself on three separate occasions. One of the alleged incidents was captured on the surveillance tape recorded at his trailer park's office. The video was inconclusive.

This story is sad. I read the fan page on Facebook about Mr.Irby's background. He's slow and was hit by a car as a teen. He was unaware that he was a 'local celeb' when one of the Facebook fan-club organizers spoke with him. He was astounded that he had fans. So, apparently he didn't put his sh*t away and some people called the police. He's been charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. I don't think he was going around waving his stuff at anybody. Poor guy.
