Phelps makes headlines over fender bender, Vick the monster to play w/ the Eagles

Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps was involved in a car crash in Baltimore, Maryland on the evening of August 13, 2009. The crash took place at an intersection at about 9:00 p.m. Phelps, who was driving a black Cadillac Escalade, was uninjured. The driver of the other car in the accident was taken to a hospital. The woman was taken to the hospital as a precaution according to police. Police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. The investigation was ongoing on the morning of August 14, 2009.

Ok, so this kid gets into a fender bender and cops say alcohol was not a factor. No one was injured. Meanwhile there's all the "oh he must have been high" jokes on Twitter. At the same time, a convicted monster (Michael Vick) will be returning to the NFL. At least Phelps never hurt anyone.
