The end of the world. No more sugar.

"Major processed-food companies in the United States reported that a shortage of sugar was eminent if the government does not relax tariffs on importation. In August 2009, sugar prices in the U.S. reached a 28-year-high. Companies, including Kraft Foods, General Mills and Hershey, wrote a letter to Thomas Vilsack, the secretary of the Agriculture Department, warning that if they are not allowed to import more tariff-free sugar from Mexico the prices of products will go up, forcing them to lay-off people in the food manufacturing industry. "

I think i could live without sugar. We'd all probably be better off without it anyway.
